Membership
We are a small but mighty not-for-profit co-operative dedicated to building affordable housing and social enterprises in Owen Sound and the region.
Joining the Glassworks community means you believe in our mission and values, and support the projects we engage in. As a member, you will be invited to attend gatherings and workshops, participate in circles (committees), and vote at our Annual General Meeting. New members are confirmed at Board Meetings.
We believe that everyone who wants to should be able to become a member so, to eliminate financial barriers, you can pay your membership fee either monthly or annually. Financial contribution levels include;
$5, $10, $20, $50, $100, or $250
(monthly or annually)

Candidates will be reviewed by the Governance circle on a rolling basis and contacted as openings are available.

Glassworks acknowledges with deep gratitude the territory of the Anishnaabek Nation: the People of the Three Fires known as Ojibwe, Odawa, and Pottawatomie Nations. We further give thanks to the Chippewas of Saugeen, and the Chippewas of Nawash, now known as the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, as the traditional keepers of this 46 acres of land.
